I have a USB 3.0 cable plugged into my computer from the monitor and the USB-C headphones in the USB-C port on the monitor. I have the USB-C input selected in the monitor settings. Windows 11 does not recognize the headphones.

How can I get this to work.

I'm not sure what monitor a DB273U is, maybe an XB273U? Anyway, often the USB hub on the monitor is separate from the USB-C for video. The USB-C port is a video input port, the USB ports on the monitor are all USB-A, not USB-C. Is that the case on yours maybe? Can you show us a picture of the ports?

You need to have the cable between the USB-B port (blue dashed lines between Type-C and the Type-A on your diagram) and the computer in order to use the rest of the USB-A ports on the monitor. The USB-C is only for video.
