Hi there,

We have an Acer Aspire E15 (ES1-512-P8NA) that we are trying to pair with a bluetooth headset. The computer says it paired but its not playing through the headset (have tested the headset on my phone and the headset works fine). Im assuming its somthing to do with the drivers. I've tried updating all of these. Do I need to download one of these https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/5611;-;Aspire%20ES1-512 and if so which one? Any help much appreciated.

[Edited the title to add model name ]

Thank you

set your Bluetooth Headset as default in play back device.
    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Look for the Hardware and Sound link. ...
    3. Click the Hardware and Sound link, then click the Sound icon or the Manage audio devices link underneath it.

Thanks for this, but unfortunately there is only one audio device showing. When I disable this I lose the sound from the PC. There is no headset icon or that device name (or any other devices for that matter). I've checked device manager and updated all devices there also. They are also saying its up to date. Rather frustrating. Let me know if you have any other ideas. I feel I've tried everything! Thanks

    Simply follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to the taskbar and right-click the Sound icon.
    2. Select Sounds from the menu.
    3. Once the Sound window is up, go to the Playback tab.
    4. Right-click the Bluetooth speakers, then select Properties.
    5. Go to the Levels tab.
    6. Go to the audio output bar, then drag it to the far right.
    7. Click Apply, then press OK to close the window.

@GAMING6698 I have tried this, but unfortunately I don't get a bluetooth option. See attached screen shot. When I go to bluetooth its saying the device is "paired" though. Really odd.
