Im thinking of buying the gigabyte aorus m.2 ssd with heatsink but is their a slot for it directly on the motherboard or will it even fit? It doesnt look like it would go in the hdd bay, its too small i think and it doesnt use a sata cable.

    Hi,

You have one M.2 SSD slot in your motherboard, you can install the M.2 SSD directly on the motherboard.

Is the ssd slot already used with the 512 gb one that came with it or not?

If your PC originally came with a 512GB M.2 SSD, yes the slot is already used, could you please post the full model name of the model, like N50-610-xxxx. or you can view the SSD in Device Manager, go to Device manager, expand Drives and see whether the 512GB is an M.2 SSD.
