Laptop is clearly on, fan running, two blue lights for power and hard drive but no display. Happens after laptop goes to sleep. Does not happen EVERY TIME laptop goes to sleep. It seems to be occurring randomly.
I've been reading about this issue for weeks all over this community board but have found no solutions that work for me. This issue began about 4 weeks ago at which time there were no (intentional) software or hardware changes to the system. I updated drivers and bios only in response to try and solve this issue, to no avail. Plugging in to external monitor does not show me anything. I have to hold power button for 15 seconds and hard re-boot to get the screen back. Nothing of significance is shown in Event Viewer when this happens. It just goes black.
I can't be certain, but I think this started around 9/9, and I see this in driver updates:
Needless to say, this is HIGHLY annoying since this is my work laptop. Been a LONG time fan of Acer but this is rattling my confidence in the brand.
Any solution would be freaking awesome and eternally appreciated.
