How can i get support without these? My tablet won't boot past the startup ACER logo. Using the reset options does not work. I cannot take the battery out to do a reset that way because the back doesn't come off.

How can i get support without the serial number or SNID? Why isnt this information physically on the device? What a horrible feature.

On the A100, there should be a sticker on the inside of the SD card door. This is where the SNID number is.

I have the same problem.  I don't have an SDcard door.  There is a bar code sticker on the outside, but it is 12 digits instead of 11, so it won't allow me to enter it at all, to try and get some help.  I have a total crash, it won't even let me put my password in... the cursor just keeps blinking, but won't let me type.  I've only had this thing for a few days...

Interesting. I needed a magnifying glass but both my W3 and W510 have the SNID on the bottom edge of the tab - have to open the case if you have one all the way to see it & printing is very small.

thank you. I think I'm going to give up and return it to the store. I don't want to take the back off for fear of scratching it before I return. I'm sure wishing I'd have read the reviews first.  Thanks for your quick response.

I have the optional plastic case. What I meant is you need to open that, not the W3. If you do not have a case it is visible on the narrow bottom edge in the center.

Acer: this should be a stickie: how to find the SNID.

Hi, thanks so much.  Yes, my # is there in the same place as yours (no case)... the only problem is that my SNID is 12 digits instead of 11, and I've tried leaving off the end digits.  Oh well, I'm so frustrated anyway, it is so very slow and doesn't go between apps well at all, so I think I'm going to give up while it is new and return it tomorrow.  Smiley Sad  Thank you so much for your help, and quick response.  Smiley Happy
