Is there any way to boost performance in Cyberpunk 2077 in Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44? I'm thinking of upgrading to 16GB Ram but is that enough? I'm getting 20-30fps in low settings with all optimisation settings applied (all overlays turned off, set priority to high etc)

Should run fine on 8GB if the game is usng the discrete nvidia GPU. If using the integrated AMD GPU 16GB RAM might help. What temps are you seeing?

Runs at 30 fps the most... I'm not using the integrated GPU I'm using 1650ti instead.. A thing I noticed is my cpu runs at 100% and gpu at 60% or lower sometimes... Also abt the Temps 70-80°C sometimes more..

What happens when you disable Defender or uninstall any 3rd party scanner?

not a difference tbh game still runs at 30 fps max (i dont have an fps cap anywhere just to clarify)....Im kind of hopeless and sad because i have the minimum specs to run the game and it still runs like ***** at the lowest settings and lowest resolution

Used the nvidia control panel to force cyberpunk to run with the nvidia gpu

I have Nitro 7 on which Witcher 3 runs very smooth. But Cyberpunk on the other hand barely gets into 30 FPS. It is an issue with the game and not the hardware.

Thanks for report. Have you tried the integrated GPU to see what it'll do with the game? Users have reported some high rates with the newer mobile Vegas

Okay this is a joke , why does it run better with integrated graphics ?To be completely honest its not that better i only get up to like 40 fps but its more playable than it was before ..Maybe if i do the 16GB ram upgrade it will run even better?Because i also noticed that it uses like 95-96% of my RAM ..Maybe that's the problem?

Other users have reported similar results with the Vega 8s One user had no luck getting the discrete nvidia adapter to deliver 144Hz to an external monitor. His Vega8 used 2GB shared RAM and delivered the goods even though specs say it tops out at 120Hz. He's running 8GB now. Planning to go to 16GB as the mobile Vega 8 can allegedly use up to 4GB shared vRAM. I think CyberPunk recommends 3GB so maybe 16GB will fix your issue.

Yes. I played the game for a few hours and uninstalled it for multiple reasons. And yes, I had my nitrosense open and was seeing where the load was going. Also tried moving Physx to CPU and to GPU too to see if moving it around helped. Unfortunately this is one game that was totally messed up. Maybe they fixed it in recent patches, but this is how it was the first couple months post launch.
