Acer Nitro XV252Q VBR keeps turning off.

I have had this 390hz monitor for 2 weeks now and I’m loving it. What I have noticed is every time I turn off my monitor the VBR switches back to normal. I have to check in the settings each time I turn my monitor on which is annoying. Wondering how this could be fixed so I can keep the VBR on extreme always.

If you can set monitor to 120Hz default or higher input, the VRB function should stay on.

Why would I give up the 390hz for the motion blur clarity. It must be a bug in the software than needs to be worked out.

As long as it and GPU stays set at 390Hz, VRB function should stay on too. Maybe try the Acer display widget to see if it can be set to stay on that way. Or uninstall and reinstall the Win10 or Win11 driver. Also the power up sequence might affect this also. Acer recommends powering up the monitor first. Then the PC.
