I am using acer predator helios 300....and this morning i was playing game and my power indicator and charging indicator started blinking and then within 10 second my system crashed. Now after system crash charging light kept blinking and system wasn't able to start. Now I keep power button Pressed for 30 second and then system started again but now the issue is as soon as i connect charger ..... System crashes within 10 seconds. Laptop isn't even charging and a local technician told me that its a motherboard issue ..please help me asap . I cant afford a motherboard issue . I've even bought this laptop on educational loan... don't know what to do.... I've uninstalled and installed battery driver also.

Please reply if someone faced a similar issue or if you know a solution please.....

    1. Unplug charger
    2. Press and hold power button for 30 seconds
    3. Plug charger back in but wait for battery charge LED to stop blinking, turn steady orange and turn steady blue or red indicating full charge. This may take up to 24 hours. Don't try to turn laptop on.
    4. Only after charge LED turns steady blue or red indicating full charge, then you can try to turn laptop on again

    Hi @Pranav05555

You can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.

What happens if you disconnect the charger in the last step before you try to turn it on? Does it stay on without the charger plugged in?

    4. Only after charge LED turns steady blue or red indicating full charge, (then unplug charger) then you can try to turn laptop on again

Ye without charger my laptop work perfectly as before....I used my laptop from 70% to almost 15% without plugging charger. But the issue comes after plugging in only. Now I have only 7-8% battery left in my system and it doesn't even charge. Don't know what I am gonna do😭

Your charger likely has a bad ground or is not isolated from the AC mains causing the laptop to shut off. It may have to be replaced. How many spades does the charger's AC mains plug have? Two or three?
