When I turn it on the keyboard backlight comes on, then the pc goes off after a few seconds. I've tried flashing a bios through usb but did not work, or I probably made a mistake there.
Its just stuck in a boot loop now where the display does not turn on at all.

You never ever FALASH A BIOS if your PC doesn't boot, a bios flash is ONLY done if the actual bios flash fixed the exact issues that the bios flash title says that it fixes and NOT for anything else! How did you flash the BIOS with a USB? As the AN515-57's bios flash file is an executable file and to be able to flash it through a bootable USB you need to decompile the bios exe file. Hopefully your bios flash didn't work and didn't do any damage? So first do this, open the back cover and first disconnect the main battery and then the bios battery, leave them disconnected for 5 min and then reconnect them both and see if your laptop boots? Get back to us and tell us what happens so that we can give you further instructions and/or what issues you have and if you have bricked your AN515-57? Also read this "The Backup Bible" as it explains everything about backing up including the bios that every user should do as a safety measure so that you can recover your laptop and PC in all cases of a bad flash etc.

I must add that the reason i say its a bios issue is because i changed a setting in the advanced bios and after that I started facing this issue

Can you get into bios? If you can then go to exit and exit with the default settings and try and see if the laptop boots? Otherwise you have done something to the bios and you need to take your laptop to an experienced tech so that he can look at your laptops problems as they have the experience to recover your bios and/or change the bios chip or it could even be your Super IO chip that is the heart of a laptop and commands the bios chip to make your laptop to boot, so your issues could be many that a user can't diagnose and/or fix as it needs expert analysis.
