Hello guys, please, if you can help with my Acer Iconia Tablet, model A6002. After an update it is frozen now on Acer logo, I have several times resetting it to its factory settings, but unfortunately it stays the same, its display is not moving any further then the Acer logo. Thank you so much.

Have you tried pressing power button for 5 seconds till tablet is completely. Then wait a few minutes and try to turn it on again?

Try using the A3-A40 model number shown on your tablet along with the latest OS version on Acer's support site to reinstall. If the drive has failed it may not be recoverable.

Basically, if the driver has failed, it is not going to be recoverable, even if I follow the Acer’s support to reinstall it?
    Thank you.

Maybe you need to visit one of the stores where you bought? And then the specialists can see what the problem is.

It is 5 years old, but it isn’t used much, and after an update when I just switched it on, it collapsed. The shop i bought it doesn’t offer repair, I must go somewhere else

Yes, if the drive has failed there is no cost effective recovery. The drive is a chip that is soldered to the motherboard, and a replacement motherboard is going to be too expensive to be viable.

I need to ask you, if I try to use the Acer’s support website to reinstall it, are there any instructions, or something that I can use as a guide to implement that procedure?

I didn’t pay much attention what the exact update was about, and that may be was my biggest mistake, but it was related to the android system
