Should be OK but the card thickness and power are more important than length. Which card model do you want to try to stuff in there?

The Gigabyte RX-6650 XT Eagle needs an 8pin power connector, the N50-620's psu is also borderline at 500W for this gpu cards requirement, I would suggest that you upgrade the OEM "PSU CHICONY POWER D19-500P1A 500W ACTIVE PFC 100-127V/220V-240V, SINGLE-RAIL DESIGN" (if that is what you have as the N50620 came with 300W psu's also) and upgrade to at least a 750W atx psu, as the OEM psu is not an Acer proprietary type, which you are lucky, as and if you have anything else plugged into this 500W psu desktop that requires more power while using the gpu RX=6650, It will struggle and will affect the performance of this gpu. Its always best to have a psu that is at least 25% higher than whatever your gpu's psu requirement are. Also upgrade the cpu cooler to a better one, like the Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black as that will fit into your desktop limited spaces and will give you 100% better cooling than the OEM cpu cooler.

i have a 500w psu(and its that exact chicony one, it came with the prebuild), its n50-610, i have 8pin connector in the form of a 6+2, ive already done the rest of the math for using this gpu, and the website recommends a 500w at least, i already have upgraded it somewhat, the cpu is now an 10600k, and the ram is upgraded to 16gb, and the current card i have is an rx 6600, there should be no issue, everywhere i look(like https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator) says my pc could even handle a 1080, which is a card that outputs more watts than this card, so i dont see why there would be an issue, here are 2 screenshots detailing some of my more personalized findings

if im to believe that the 1080's TDP is only 4 watts above the rx 6650's then there really isnt any issue then, right? i currently cant afford to upgrade the psu and the gpu at the same time and i wanna upgrade the gpu like i know is possible, i know for a fact this pc can power a 3060, 2060 super, or 6600 xt, which i also can afford any of those right now, but im trying to get the best bang for my buck under my constraints(in both my pc and life) so tell me, which of these cards(preferably not the 6600 xt or 2060 super) is the best bang for my buck in my specific situation?

but for future reference could you also link me some good 750w psu's that can fit inside my case and fully utilize everything my case could possibly offer? i dont plan on changing out the case until i wanna also buy another LGA 1200 board

    >>>gigabyte rx 6650 xt eagle>>>

Should be OK. More power efficient than 3060 so the existing PSU should be fine. Existing PSU dimensions should be a rather petite ~5.5"x5.5"x3.35". So a 750-800watt unit would likely require some rearrangement to stuff it in that smallish case. If it was mine, I'd worry about a bigger PSU if/when the time comes.

okay, so your saying all in all, the card can fit and will perform good?

Yes it should fit. BUT, despite the hype, I doubt it will perform that much noticeably better than what you already have. If it was mine, I'd probably spend the money on something else. But it's not mine. So you have to make the final decision.

if a gpu wont help my performance, then can you tell me why games like assassins creed origins and watch dogs 2 fail to hit a good frame rate? theyre constantly at 70 or below, aside from my specs that have already been mentioned, i have a 1080p monitor and a 2tb sata ssd, but i dont think that is it, i dont understand why im seeing benchmarks for the rx 6600 doing good and yet my pc struggles to keep up to what i see literally every video i watch about benchmarks, i spent so much on this pc so i could play any game at high frame rates and while few games do struggle, the ones that do seem like they shouldnt struggle, what can i do before i try to factory reset?

    >>>greatly notice improvement>>>

The 6600 seems to be a near, but not quite perfect, match for the desktop's base components & physical layout. So yes, while there's still room for improvement, it doesn't seem quite great enough for me to justify spending $400+ for a marginally closer to perfect card. :)

okay, so what card for my setup would you recommend? as long as i can at least run at least 90% of games medium-high setttings with at least around 90FPS, i wont feel like i need an upgrade until like next year

Sorry, I can't recommend any card that is 100% sure to do much better than what you already have..Too many variables including the games played, the monitor used, cables, GPU card thermal management, etc. In principle, your existing card should be able to yield satisfactory results if your system is properly setup which in itself is a formidable trial and error task. There are no magic plug and play cards that will instantly meet all your expectations.

Should work OK. Peak power is only about 3% greater than the stock 2060 and less than a 1/4" thicker. Other dimensions seems to be smaller.
