Search 'apps & features' in Windows start  menu. Click 'apps & features' near the top of the menu. Scroll down and search for any instances of Nitrosense. Then left click and uninstall.
No instances of Nitrosense to be found there. What could be the problem? I have a fair understandment of computers and software and I can't grasp around what could be causing this.

Press WIN+R. Enter 'services.msc'. Scroll down to Windows Installer. Right click properties. Make sure Installer is turned on if not set to automatic. Then try installing NitroSense again.

It was, indeed, turned off. Turned it on but I can't set it to automatic as the "manual" appears as grey. After this, tried installing Nitrosense with administrator rights but still does not work

Open Update and Security settings in Windows start menu. In the left pane, scroll down and click ForDevelopers. Turn Developer mode on. Then try it again.

Press WIN+R. Enter 'msconfig'. Click boot tab. Check mark safe boot. Reboot. Try to install in safe boot.
