What type of M.2-2280 interface does Aspire 7 A715-72G have?

The actualy model of the laptop is A715-72G-739V. I was thinking of upgrading the original M.2 SSD with a larger capacity one so I have a lot of questions:

1) Is it an "M key","B key, or "M+B key". I did not want to open up the back and check it out myself since the question might be answered without doing so here (the m.2 slot is not easily accessible like the ram and 2.5 inch slot).

2) Is it through a SATA controller or through the PCI-E bus in x2 or x4 mode?

3) Can anyone give tips on how to transfer the data easily from the original M.2 to the new one? If I am not wrong the OS is installed in the M.2 drive.

4) What else should be asked? I plan to get the highest tier of m.2 ssd without getting bottlenecked so feel free to give suggestions.

    Hi,
You can install a M.2 NVMe SSD, the slot is compatible with both types of M.2 SSD, so don't worry about the key type.
    2. The motherboard is PCIe 3.0x4 capable but the speed may be capped to 2 lanes only.
    3. Use Minitool partition wizard to migrate everything from original M.2 SSD to the HDD(if you already have), then replace the original M.2 SSD with the new M.2 SSD, change the boot order in BIOS to make HDD as your first boot device, transfer everything from HDD to new M.2 SSD , remove the HDD and boot with new M.2 SSD, when you are happy with the migration you can wipe the HDD and use it for storage.

It is great you know all this information. But, I couldn't find Acer aspire A715-72G official specification document. Can you please point me to it?

    Best regards.
