On my laptop, the hinge was always tight. Now it just broke. What is the fix for this?

Additionally, noticed this is an ongoing issue.  Does Acer plan on addressing this?  My Acer was mfg on 6/23/2020.

You can repair it with epoxy or replace the hinge for about $20usd depending on your laptop model.

I'm thinking I need to bring it in for repair.  Pieces of plastic have fallen off.  Rather a pro do it.  Any recommendations in NC around Durham?  Thx, Gary

These guys have a fairly good rep and seem to know hinge issues with consumer-grade laptops. They may take one look at it and just say no. Or maybe yes. They're probably worth a try if you don't want to tackle it yourself.
