    (1) Do you have a non-M icrosoft virus scanner running in the background on startup?
    (2) Do you have popup blocker turned on in your browser?
    (3) What browser are you using?

Does this mean you don't use a browser to play red dead redemption 2 when you have this display crash problem of trying to open a simple folder?

Read all the requirements needed for this game to run properly at this link including the Rockstar Games Launcher & log-in to Rockstar Games Social Club.

I have 16gb ram gtx1650 its enought to run game at 60fps. And it does. But only problem is when something pops up. Other than that game runs great. I have all updated and laptop is new, 2months old

Let me be more direct. These are requirements for running red dead redemption 2 without crashing

    (1) You must load the Rockstar Games Launcher
    (2) You must register and log-in to Rockstar Games Social Club.

Have you done these two things?

    >>>something pops up >>>

What is the "something" that pops up? If you have a non-Mico sof t virus scanner running in the background related to this pop up, it must be uninstalled. You don't need a non-Micr osoft  scanner anymore.

Chrome browser is a notorious troublemaker. So is Edge which is related to Chrome. Try FireFox instead to see what happens.

FireFox is a browser that's more efficient than Chrome or Edge and may fix your issue.

Yes, but the notification suggests that you're Chrome or Edge browser has switched the game back to online mode again. What happens if you turn off wifi or use airplane mode  so that NO browser notifications are possible?
