Nitro 5 Is it safe to pass my laptop through luggage scanner?

Hello, I have an Acer Nitro 5. I had it in my luggage and forgot to remove my laptop from luggage before getting my luggage scanned at the scanner. Will it effect my laptop at all? Can it damage my laptop's speaker or hard disk?

I am kind of worried, can you tell me about it?

Nope, even older X ray scanner ones wouldnt harm anything, they emmit such little radiation. Else it would be impossible to fly any electronics around the world!

Nah not really, scanners use mm wave to scan objects, so very little radiation is given off compare to xray, unless you also passed it under a giant de-gausing machine its abolutly fine :) tech goes through them all the time

Hey thank you for replying fast, I think the one I passed my luggage through was an x-ray machine. It looked like this. Do you think it will damage the internal components of my laptop in any way? Like hard disk, speaker or anything? Maybe laptop charger?

@KrishJames123 most airports require you to remove large electronics from the luggage or backpack to have clearer scanning although I think that airport has a newer X-Ray machine that still can scan electronic devices without having to take them off. Also, their regulation doesn't mention anything about the laptop being damaged by X-Ray scanner so it should be fine.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
