144hz display and when change it to 60 the ghosting issue gets worse.egydiocoelho said:Does this model have a 144hz or 60hz display? What happens when you change the resolution?
I don't know but I'll check it out. Nothing can be this bad probably a configuration problem or faulty panel.egydiocoelho said:There is a display related bios version. What is the bios version?
I just checked it I have the latest bios version so no problem there.egydiocoelho said:There is a display related bios version. What is the bios version?
I don't have that option in nitro sense!egydiocoelho said:Try disabling LCD OVER DRIVE in nitro sense!
This is Acer predatorSense not NitroSenseegydiocoelho said:No apperar here?
Nope as you can see on the image there is no LCD Overdrive option. I even tried installing predator sense while older versions worked they did not have the LCD overdrive option and newer versions didn't even allow me to install. I think the panel is faulty. I even found another thread about the same panel having the same issue.egydiocoelho said:No apperar here?
Can you check the bios version in system info?
I wanted to do that but there is a problem. Because of the website I bough the laptop from they do not have to option to exchange things but they accept refunds. Now in a normal world I would just get a refund and buy another or the same exact laptop but the problem is since I've bought the laptop the prices have gone up by a lot. So if I get a refund I can't even buy the laptop that I had bought before. The only choice I have is contacting Acer Support and try to solve my problem from there or wait a bit and buy a better panel and replace it myself(Which I can easily) but that would void the warranty. Thank you for your help.egydiocoelho said:I advise contacting the seller and requesting an exchange for another identical model.
