Acer Chromebook 11 CB3-131

Been having trouble with Chrome crashing and freezing when I open facebook and use external links to new tab.

The manufacture date is 10-07-2016. I got this for xmas and it has been doing this since day one. Here are the 1st 3 command lines:

 /opt/google/chrome/chrome --ppapi-flash-path=/opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=25.0.0.127 --ui-prioritize-in-gpu-process --use-gl=egl --gpu-sandbox-failures-fatal=yes --enable-logging --log-level=1 --use-cras --enable-wayland-server --user-data-dir=/home/chronos --max-unused-resource-memory-usage-percentage=5 --login-profile=user --has-chromeos-keyboard --default-wallpaper-

I have powerwashed it and updated it and it still happens. Please help.
