I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-536Q which I got at least 1 week ago, I've been noticing massive frame drops in games like Roblox Jailbreak and etc, frames are dropping from 100 to 30 to 15 to 100 to 30 to 15.

Check if your CPU/GPU Temperatures are going more than 90°C while gaming?
(Use realtime Temperatures monitoring app like msi afterburner)

    Hi vGraphs,

In some situations your CPU may slow down while you are playing a game. This can be caused by overheating, or it can be caused by attempts to conserve battery power. Sudden slowdowns – where the game is running fine and then the frame rate drops quite suddenly – are sometimes caused by these CPU slowdowns.

    1. Meet the system requirements of your games.
    2. Turn off fullscreen optimization.
    3. Scan for malware and virus.
    4. Disable Intel Turbo Boost technology.
    5. Check for system file corruption.
    6. Update your graphics card drivers.
    7. Cooldown your CPU and GPU.
    8. Check for your hard drive.

Maybe you're using the integrated graphics (Intel) instead of your Dedicated one (Nvidia)?

And set you Power Plan to "Performance" Mode whenever you are playing.
