My latop Acer Aspire E5-573 running on (window 8.1 UEFI boot) which I purchased on year 2015 has a boot failure problem these days. It went on freezing at acer logo for minutes and a boot failure msg pop up.
I had done:
1. Window reinstall
2. Cleaning mother board
(Not solved)

It usually happens at first go (start up) a day, and after going throught BIOS setup by pressing F2 key and loading default, it went back normal.
It's a problematic situation on emergency.
Please help!!!

Please delete urgently your phone number and email as it’s not necessary to quote that on this forum as we can send you private messages also.

Now and coming to your Aspire E5-573, firstly and if its running ok after resetting the BIOS to ”Defaults” then I would leave it. If you are worried and want to fix this problem and/or upgarde things, then you need to do or upgrade the following:

    1. You could be running an old BIOS that could be partly corrupted, what BIOS version are you running? As there are 8 total BIOS versions and fixes for the Aspire E5-573. NOTE: Don't update BIOS if you are not experienced and never don it before as "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution" and should only be done by someone that is experienced.
    2. The Aspire E5-573 is running either a 500GB to 1TB spinner HDD and that could also be the Achilles heel and the problematic part of your laptop, upgrade your storage to an SSD type drive.
    3. Also it could be LOW RAM as its probably only got 4GB, upgrade that too as the Aspire E5-573 can take a max of 16GB of DDR3L-1600 SODIMM and it has 2x slots (2 banks of 1) which you can put a kit of 2x 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM and comes with OEM mem of either 4GB or 8GB removable
    4. Also, you could update the Aspire E5-573 Win-8.1 to the Win-10 pro with the same key that you have, all you have to do is have a Microsoft account and after installing Win-10 Pro register and you will get a “Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account” that is how I’ve done one of my laptops and it registered way after the expired free Win-10 offer from Microsoft. Try that

All these things are probable causes of your laptop not working properly as you haven’t updated anything since new and 2015 as laptops need maintenance and also could be upgraded. It’s up to you if you want to spend $$$’s to upgrade this laptop or not?

I just read this.. hopefully you have resolved this by now but.. It sounded like your CMOS battery could be dead. I've had them last for years on end and never go, and had a couple go within months of new. They're cheap as dirt and easy to replace.
