Swift X SFX14-41G heats up during charging

Recently got the Swift X SFX14-41G with Ryen 5600U Nvdia GTX3050
The battery life only lasts around 4hrs on 50% screen brightness and I only use to watch YouTube on Chrome.
When I charge the laptop, I noticed the left side (probably where the battery is located) heats up a lot and it becomes uncomfortable to use.
Wonder if this is a manufacturer defect or if it's normal...

It would be expected to heat up, but it shouldnt be scolding hot. It may be a tad uncomfortable though. How hot is it?

60C is pretty normal for a CPU or GPU temperature, but we are trying to find out what the case surface temperature is...

Surface temperature seems to be around 40-50C

So that is certainly warm enough to be uncomfortable. Is the heat coming out the vents or on the plastic surface? It would probably be a good idea to get Acer support involved at this point.
