Just bought the Acer Nitro 5 ANML517-54-79L1 Gaming laptop off Amazon. And it’s been randomly cutting off multiple times but never fully shutting down. What is the reasoning behind it?

@ZenpaiZee so the laptop just goes to sleep mode randomly but not shutdown?

yes, when I’m using it or playing games, it will randomly go into sleep mode and sometimes it takes for me pushing the power button several  to get it back on

@ZenpaiZee make sure that you don't put anything that has magnetic like phone, earphones on the left side of the palmrest and near the touchpad as that place has lid sensor.

Overheating. This is one of the most common reasons for your computer to shut down. When the temperature inside the equipment exceeds the norm, the device spontaneously cuts off the power supply so as not to burn the components.
