Still No SATA mode in my UEFI - PREDATOR HELIOS 300 - PH315-53, needing AHCI for Linux

In my UEFI BIOS, I cannot the find the settings everybody else seems to have. I have this newer mouse controlled UEFI BIOS and entered a password to disable secure boot.
I found here in the forum that pressing CTRL-S enables a menu where I could set SATA mode to AHCI.
Is there anything, I need to do before CTRL-S is usable? Or any other way to enable ACHI?
THX

When this image appears, press the F1 key:

Now, you will see an image similar to this:

Can you send a photo of the PRODUCT INFORMATION tab? I would like to see how the name MANUFACTURER NAME is spelled, to help another user here in the community.

Then go to the MAIN tab and press CTRL+S:

A function called SATA MODE or VMD CONTROLLER should appear. If the SATA MODE function appears, change it to AHCI. If the VMD CONTROLLER function appears, deactivate this function!

    Hi,
Go to start, type Run, type msconfig and enable Safe boot in the next window, then try Ctrl+S.

Thanks for fast reply. But when I follow these instructions, the first page in my UEFI BIOS looks like this and not like the classical one shown on
    https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/13993-how-to-change-sata-mode-to-ahci
On my page, I can press CTRL-S as often as I like, but do not get any SATA-settings.

@Argumon try to update the BIOS for the latest one. Old BIOS version might not have option to change the SATA mode.

How can you update BIOS if you don't even have windows? is that possible? Laptop came with free dos...

Mine came with Windows. But I saw many warnings, not to update UEFI because the laptop can easily be bricked. I have upgraded the firmware of countless devices, is there really an issue with the Predator laptops and BIOS upgrades?
In what firmware can the SATA settings be set?

@Argumon it is safe to do so if you have the charger plugged during the BIOS update and do not power of during the update even you think it is stuck. Get the lastest version for sure.

Many thanks, will try and see, if that brings me the SATA-settings.

OK, I am now running latest 2.04 BIOS. But that did not offer any additional setting. Nothing happens when I press CTRL-S on the start page. And no SATA settings anywhere else.
Does anyone else have SATA settings on the same Model?

@Argumon can you post the picture of the BIOS screen again?

Hey thanks, this seems to be my mistake. I have been pressing CTRL-S on the first screen, not the MAIN tab.
    Will reboot and try later

Thanks so much, pressing CTRL-S on the MAIN tab instead of the first screen did the trick. I can now switch between Optane with RAID/Optane without RAID/AHCI. It was on Optane with RAID. Of course, after changing to AHCI Windows did not boot anymore. So I selected Optane without RAID and Windows came up. Tomorrow I will try if Manjaro will now find my SSD's or if it needs to be AHCI (and reinstalling Windows)
