Fan not working after cleaning

Hello, 
The fans of my Predator laptop made a weird/clicking noise and it got louder recently (the laptop was bought around September or December 2018), so me and my dad decided to clean the fans yesterday.
We followed a tutorial on YouTube and yes, the fans were very dirty. We plugged everything back in the correct places and, when the laptop was turned back on, I launched PredatorSense and the GPU fan was running fine but the CPU fan didn't spin and was marked at 0 RPM. Note that both fans were spinning freely when we tried blowing in them.
We opened the laptop again and unplugged the CPU fan then plugged it back. It did not spin after turning the computer back on.
Even when putting the Max setting in PredatorSense, the speed stays at 0 RPM.
I am currently using the laptop but keeping a close eye at the temperature.
I would like to know if there is a fix to that or, if there isn't, I would like to know where to buy a replacement.

    Tomi_C you cant try a battery power drain and reset bios to defaults but if after that the fan its still physically stopped im afraid you will have to get it replaced they are very picky when it comes to cleaning them even being very careful sometimes they just get damaged anyway if you provide the full model of your laptop i will get you the part number you might need if the battery power drain doesnt work.

    Bare in mind i dont advise anyone to clean the fans by blowing at them neither using compressed air i recommend if possible and without voiding the warranty take it apart if theres not any seals/stickers completely disassemble it turn the fans over and clean the fans and exit airflow manually/gently with cotton buds/toothpicks and 
    isopropyl alcohol thats the proper way to do it safely without damaging them otherwise if not possible to disassemble it contact acer support and send it back to get it cleaned also as i said if the fan its physically stopped do not try to use the laptop until you get it fixed/replaced as you might damaged the mobo and a mobo replacement its much more expensive

    My advice is for you to change the fans (see eBay as they have a wide range fans and paste) but get a new paste for your CPU/GPU like the excellent paste of the "Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Thermal Paste" and use the "Pea method" where you put a pea-sized amount of thermal paste on the CPU/GPU and then install the heatsinks over them. After this the thermal paste gets evenly spread on the CPU/GPU with the pressure and temperature. This is a very cheap and small investment for the problems that you have, take my word and experience as you will do much more damage by not doing this!

    StevenGen i really dont recommend liquid metal to anyone but if you want to take responsibility for a possible burned mobo due to liquid metal dripping and short circuit it its up to you :)  i only recommend kryonaut or similar and the spread method its the way to go (especially for newstarters) only a thin layer covering both diodes its more than enough too much its bad

    Sorry for not answering sooner, I was buried in homework, thanks to Covid-19 and missed the e-mail notification.
    Is a battery power drain just discharging the battery to 0% or something else?
    Also the laptop model is PH315-51-58KC, if this is not the number you are looking for let me know.

    Hello, I am really sorry because I may and will sound entitled with this comment but could anyone answer my last comment please? I think the discussion has been buried and, while I understand that others need help too, it has been three days since I posted my last comment and I am forced to use my parents' computer which has, you could say very limited specs.

    Hi (2 years after the first comment),
    I ended up turning it in the store where I sold it which sent it to the Acer repair center.
    Now the laptop works as usual.

    Did you have warranty with it or no ?

    I thik I still had less than 6 months of warranty, but I can't tell you if it is brand warranty or store warranty.
