@Supercatcher does your friend laptop has 8GB or 16GB of RAM?

Yes, my friend and me have same laptop, same model, same specs
no upgrades yet. And should I return this? My laptop is going 1 week old tomorrow but I cant decide whether I should exchange this one for a newer one.

@Supercatcher check this topic for OS optimization: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/612495/windows-10-optimization-guide-for-gaming/p1. Also, you can try to uninstall any 3rd party anti virus software, update the BIOS.

    Hi @Supercatcher,

    1. Check the settings of your windows power plan, and if your laptop charger is not plugged in, try plugging it in to see if it makes a difference.
    2. Try turning up graphics settings in the games that you play to see if GPU usage increases.
