Hi, post installing Microsoft 'September 30, 2021-KB5005539' update this morning, the bluetooth have stopped functioning in my laptop. In bluetooth settings, I can no longer see the function to turn Bluetooth on and off. I've tried to download the drivers again from the acer website and install them but has not helped. I've tried to restart my laptop several times. In Device Manager if I right click on Bluetooth I only get two options 'Scan for hardware changes' and 'Properties'. If I select the Properties there isn't anything but a General Tab. General Tab details is blank. Pls help on this. Thanks

@Parikchhitpower drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the unit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restartClick on 'Yes' if the comment answers your question!0

Without fail, after a few days bluetooth craps out and disappears. I have two identical computers (E5-575G-53VG)and they both do the same. This has been going on for the last year or so, at least as long as I started using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Perhaps it has always been this way (5 years).Sometimes, running Windows bluetooth fixit tool works. Sometimes, turning bluetooth on/off (e.g. airplane mode) works. Often, however, shutdown (not restart), then power on is the *only* way to restore bluetooth. This sucks (along with cracked lid hinges, twice). Any permanent solution other than not buying an Acer computer?0
