I have an Acer Predator Triton 300, (PT315-52)
CPU: i7-7500H
GPU: 2070 Max Q Design

After 10 months of usage suddenly my laptop's screen died. I took it for repair but since it would take some time to get the screen ordered and delivered, I thought of buying a monitor instead.

I bought a QG221 Acer monitor with 75 hz refresh rate. I disconnected the laptops screen port from the motherboard so as not to create any issues/ short circuit. Currently, I am using the monitor as my sole screen and laptop as a CPU.

I am facing multiple problems.
1. The charging light keeps blinking orange and the battery shows 0% available (plugged in).
2. The laptop's keyboard doesn't have any backlit. The keyboard still works, I can type and all just there is not backlit on it, neither any rgb.
3. My laptops performance is significantly dropped. I used to get like 175 fps (capped) in games like Paladins but now i get like 30 fps with audio distortion. And its not just Paladins, I have tried other games as well which i used to have no issues with now i just get low performance with low fps and distortions.
4. Might not be an issue but the both the CPU and GPU fan stops time to time. But that might be due to lower temperature (both CPU and GPU rarely get above 55%). So still thinking i might have outdated Predatorsense I uninstalled it but now I am not able to install it again from the acer website when i try to install it. (Shows This computer is not compatible).

Things I have done till now.
1. Checked for all windows update and updated every drivers I could think of.
2. Since this model doesn't have a battery reset port. Tried to remove any static charge by removing the battery manually and pressing the power buttons for 30 sec and a minute and plugging things back again.
3. I completely removed the battery and tried gaming on fully AC power. This performance didn't change, It was still giving low fps, causing stuttering and audio distortions.
4. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control method Battery from Device Manager.
5. The charger came in with the laptop when i bought it and was working fine before the screen issue, so pretty sure its not the faulty charger and since its only been like 10 months, I don't think the battery needs to be replaced yet.
6. For predatorsense. I have tried to install all 4 versions of the predatorsense, all of them shows the same error.

I don't know if its a screen issue that's causing this whole issue or its something else. The only this I haven't tried yet is looking at BIOS, as the monitor screen doesn't boot into bios.

Help is greatly appreciated.

One of the most common reasons for a slow computer are programs running in the background. Remove or disable any TSRs and startup programs that automatically start each time the computer boots. To see what programs are running in the background and how much memory and CPU they are using, open Task Manager.
