It will tell you what you currently have and what you can add for memory and SSD's.

Well, since my SSD now is dead, and i can't use my computer, i can't scan. So before I'm buying a new SSD, i would like to know if it can handle 1TB or not!

Kindly follow the details from the link

    https://www.acer.com/datasheets/2018/4876/A515-52/NX.H16ED.008.html

On the specifications sheet it shows

    Storage

    Drive Type

    SSD

    Total Solid State Drive Capacity

    512 GB

    Solid State Drive Configuration

    1 x 512GB

    Optical Drive Type

    No

512 gb SSD will work on your computer without any issues.   Most of the people are using upto 2 Tb.    At your own risk you can try upto 2 TB otherwise return the SSD and go for 512 gb ssd      I suggest you to try 1 TB or 2 TB ssd and check it.    If it is working fine go ahead and use it otherwise return it and go for the 512 gb ssd.

You can try the link given below on a different computer and check it.    Please enter the model no  Acer Aspire 5 A515-52 and search..

It will tell you what you currently have and what you can add for memory and SSD's.

You should be able to install up to a 2TB NVME card with no issues. I recommend WesternDigital Blue series nvme cards for the A5 series. The 1TB 550 semes to be the best deal right now. Should be perfect for your laptop.
