I purchased an Acer Nitro 5 Laptop back in October 2020. It's only 1 years and 3 months passed, but the laptop starting showing a messed up display. I see horizontal lines in the middle of the screen. When the line appears, the lower half of the display freezes and becomes unresponsive to mouse clicks. The problem doesn't show  up everytime. When I open a new application window or a new Google Chrome tab for example, it appears suddenly and then once in a while it goes away after leaving the screen idle for a while. It randomly appears and disappears. The warranty window has just crossed and I am utterly disappointed by this behavior of the device guessing that a display problem would cost me havoc. Any help is appreciated. I'm providing some specs of my system below:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz   2.59 GHz
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
RAM: 8GB Built in, upgraded the RAM from authorized Acer Service center to 24GB.
OS: Windows 11 Home Single Language
OS Build: 22000.434

I've captured a video of my laptop display showing the problem. Here is the video link: https://youtu.be/v2q1-sHpQX4

This is the same problem I am having, and at the same point in the warranty.  I have a NITRO5 from June21.

I think the problem is being triggered by the mouse pad.  It appears to be the same in your video.  The output to HDMI is perfect even when the duplicated screen on the laptop is glitching.

    Any sign of a solution?

Same issue, same point in warranty. Other research suggests that since it’s working fine attached by HDMI to another monitor, it’s a hardware issue. That would make sense, only when I hook it with an HDMI and set the refresh rate to 60hz, the laptop monitor begins working as normal. Have to do both. Really weird issue. Any fixes yet?
