Hi,

I've recently purchased my first gaming laptop the Acer Predator PT315-53. However, I can't seem to achieve 144 fps on Call of Duty Warzone. I'm new to the whole gaming laptop scene and have tried various methods shown on youtube etc. but nothing seems to achieve 144 FPS. I've provided quite a bit of detail below, however please let me know if you require any further info.

I have also reinstalled the game and my FPS testing below is with the laptop charger plugged in.

Maybe I'm expecting too much from a gaming laptop but I was expecting to get 144fps with high graphics settings as within the game under the graphics settings the VRAM is not even maxed out. So I'm hoping to see of there's anything else that I should try or whether I should be return the laptop.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Also, just to add I’ve tried switching windows game mode off, but that made no difference.

    Can a 144Hz monitor run 144 fps?
You don't need 144fps to use a 144Hz monitor but you do need a 144Hz monitor to use 144fps, or all the extra frames will just get wasted.

Hi @Easwar thanks for taking a look at my query. I can confirm that I have a 144hz monitor but I can’t seem to reach 144fps when playing Warzone even with low settings. With my current setup I thought this would be possible even at high settings but for some reason I can’t seem to figure out why I can only reach 80-90fps.
