I updated my acer aspire a315 57g to windows 11 as soon as I got the update, every thing was perfect my cpu was working stable at 3.6 ghz
But then I saw that windows 11 needs more RAM then I downgraded it win 10 again
Did the same settings but my cpu cant work as well as it worked in wondows 11
I tried to update it and see if it works well in windows 11 again but no it wasnt
Im suffering playing games even get fps drops in until we die
Any possible tricks?
All drivers are up to date and inside the laptop is clean

Where did you see that it needed more RAM if everything was perfect?

When i wanted to open a server to play games with my friends u know that I should give ram and when I gave 3 gb of ram to the server I saw that my ram usage was something like 7.6/7.8.
On the other hand all fps games I play like valorant and csgo were constant at 60 fps and not even once dropped
High ram usage of windows 11 made me roll back to windows 10 and couldnt get the same performance ever again.
My laptop is pretty new like 4 month old.

Remove new RAM module. Use only old module from factory and try it again.

Yea already tried it,my fps even got lower than before.
I think its something with my cpu as it has turbo boost to 4.2 ghz but working at maximum of 3.4 while I play games.
Already tried to change power plan andcpu power state but nothing has changed

No, 3.4 GHz seems correct. Laptop cpus are typically derated or limited to about 75-80% of advertised max frequencies due to concerns about heat buildup particularly with thin case designs. Your cpu seems to be working properly within the limits imposed by the BIOS firmware.

But I was getting higher than 3.4 ghz like constant 3.6 and I have to mention that I get 3.4 ghz while the computer is idle but when I enter a game it goes crazy even drops to 1.7 ghz some times

    >>>Already tried to change power plan and cpu power state but nothing has changed>>>

Click the advanced settings link your power plan. Then set max processor power states to 90% --- NOT 100% --- on both battery and plugged in. Then try 80% if no change.

What do you mean by 'clean install drivers' and 're install Windows'. Did you use ACER OEM Intel drivers or generic Intel drivers? Did you reinstall ACER OEM Windows version or Microsoft generic Windows version? The OEM driver & Windows versions are not the same as the generic versions!

Used windows update to install drivers and then updated them from manufacturers site and my laptop came with no os I had to install it

Please explain what problems the frequencies are causing in playing the games you are playing now? This is important because the games usually control the cpu frequencies they need to play and render correctly.. They don't always call upon turbo mode when its not needed to avoid overheating and unnecessarily wasting laptop battery energy.

My fps drops time by time sometimes it just stutters and sometimes drops to 30 40 fps.
When I was playing at constant 60fps my cpu was working at 3.60 ghz and now I cant see that performance, can it be from thermal paste?

It is possible.  How many months have you been playing games on this laptop?
