    • wich is the right software tool to know the battery status and life ?

    Hello everyone, someone could guide me to find a good software tool to evaluate the status of my laptop battery please ?

      You can check with hwinfo64.

      I would say execute the command Powercfg /batteryreport using command prompt ( administrator), and search the battery-report.html file under C:\windows\system32 directory.

      You will find plenty of info from there.

      I have to add that I usually use a Linux Ubuntu version, so do you know a same tool for Linux ?

      Sorry though, I can't remember nor find any for the Linux Distro.

      I found the command line "upower" a very complete command giving about life, reference and cycle. Interresting
