How to fix Aspire A315-55G flickering screen?

My screen is flickering green and pink. It's not that bad but, whenever I'm watching videos or opening/scrolling through tabs and windows, or sometimes just by typing, the transition (?) seems to do a pink and grin flickering like some slow motion after-effect or something like that (is that considered flickering? Idrk.) I need help.

OK. The LCD video cable connectors at the mainboard & base of the LCD screen likely need to be re-seated a few times to help clean the contacts. Not a serious issue but unfortunately will require some disassembly to access the connectors.

Is this laptop still under warranty?

Go to this link. Download and (re)install both intel and nvidia 3090 drivers.

do you mean the "IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver"  and "BIOS Update Nvidia N17S-G5 VBIOS to 86.07.91.00.0D"??? because I couldn't really find the exact ones you're telling me to download, and im not so sure if those two are the right ones.

Hey. I've tried the method you've suggested and reinstalled the drivers, but there seems to be no changes. the screen still flickers pink and green every five seconds :( . Do you perhaps have another method you'd recommend? or should I go and have this fixed??

how do I check if its a hardware problem (haven't dropped it, no cracks on the screen) or a software problem??? Sorry for all the questions. :(

the flickering doesn't seem to stop whether I touch and move the laptop or not. as well as if i watch a video or not. The screen looks like its making doubles and moving up in down in light speed (pink and green) lmao.

OK. The LCD video cable connectors at the mainboard & base of the LCD screen likely need to be re-seated a few times to help clean the contacts. Not a serious issue but unfortunately will require some disassembly to access the connectors.

I'm afraid it isn't. Bought it just before the pandemic, so no... I guess I'll ask someone who can do it since that's beyond me. Thank you for being patient with me and thank you for all the help.

OK. You might want to google search the keywords 'your city' & 'laptop repair;. Usually reveals ratings & reviews of service shops in your area. Good luck.
