Hi Everyone,
I just bought a refurbished Acer laptop
A515-56-58K6, i5 processor, 512 SSD,
Iris graphics card. However I originally bought it for Video editing & rendering (I haven't even rendered a single video yet- only doing basic Python scripts) but apparently sometimes after starting it, it hangs goes into black screen and freezes. Have to cold reboot.
Than other times after laptop running for 3 hours suddenly goes into black screen hangs. Have to cold reboot.
I have submitted the laptop where I purchased it from, under Warranty, they said they'll run diagnostic and determine if new motherboard is replace required. Now I am willing to accept that long as it is fixed. I am fond of Acer brand and this particular model.
Is anyone have a solution to this problem?

1. Shutdown the unit.
2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.0

I think you should let the sellers run the diagnostics. Not much we can offer here as it's not a common issue and we don't have access to your machine. If they offer a warranty, they should fix it.
