Hello,
yesterday everything was fine...
As is switched on my Aspire S13 today, the keyboard stops working. I can press every button - nothing appears on the screen. When I cheked it in the device manager, I saw an exclamation mark with the PS/2 keyboard entry.
There was no Update, because I switches the laptop off last night.
When I add another keyboard via USB - it shows the same in the device manager, and it doesn't work.
So what can I do now ?
Thanks for help

Right click the entry in Device Manager and do an uninstall. Reboot and test again. If that doesn't get it try again, but this time check the remove files option then go for it again. Since it's not working both with the builtin keyboard and an external keyboard it pretty much has to be software.

    Thanks for the tip.
I did this already - delete the keyboard in the device manager and reboot. No success at all.
So at least I reinstalled a saved version of the laptop, and the problem was gone.
