Took my 13 month old Acer Chromebook Spin 713 to Best Buy geek squad to repair blue black screen. Sent out for service and estimate to replace LCD screen and cable $489. I declined service because Acer agree to repair. Picked up Chromebook and it is working just fine. I'm confused. What happened. Should I send it to Acer for repairs

My guess is they reseated the cable and that fixed the issue. Perhaps there was a little corrosion on the connectors...

I have a repair issue number from Acer should I close it out or leave it open.

As long as it is working correctly I believe you can just cancel the repair appointment.
