Acer Spin 5 SP513-54N does not charge via PD pass-through

My laptop (Acer Spin 5 SP513-54N) that supports USB C PD charging charges normally when using a PD charger (Omnia F6, 45-65W), However, when charged via a USB C hub that supports PD pass-through (j5create JCD375), it doesn't charge at all; not even "slow charge" shows up... just nothing. The PD charger, through the USB C hub, charges normally on another laptop, so the PD charger and the USB C hub function normally. Does Acer Spin 5 support PD charging but not PD pass-through? How come? Is it a hardware or a software problem?

Likely the hub doesn't provide high enough voltage. Verify it's giving the full 19V.
