Windows Hello Fingerprint & Hello Face not working after Norton uninstall

Good day, I have seen some more people had similar issues with Fingerprint scanner not working anymore, however, I have not found a clear answer to rectify this.
Mine was working initially but then stopped working after I uninstalled the Norton trial antivirus that comes pre-installed. A visit to "Sign in options" in 'Settings' shows that the option is currently unavailable because a compatible Camera and Fingerprint scanner could not be found.
Please can anyone assist keeping in mind I am not a Programs Engineer and will appreciate a explanation the average user can understand.
Thank you in advance...

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand camera
right click on camera driver - uninstall
    Uninstall the finger print driver

    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
go to drivers - Install the finger print reader..

Now go to "Sign in options" in 'Settings' and check..

Thank you William MK2!! I followed your final suggestion and went to the support.acer.com site. There I found a driver download for the fingerprint scanner and proceeded with the download.
I then went to device manager and updated the driver. Fingerprint scanner working well again!
Now I need to find/do something similar to get facial recognition back up and running....

Look at the camera in Device Manager, hello face needs to know that the camera is the correct type.
