Hi,
Suddenly my E5-571G-56T1 laptop doesn't work, it has run out of battery and when I put it to charge the orange charging led only turns on for a few seconds and turns off again while it shows me the low battery screen.
I have tried to start it without the battery but in this case it does not turn on any lights or do anything. The charger is fine since I have measured the voltage and it is correct and I have disassembled the motherboard to measure the current input jack and it was also correct.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

With the laptop turned off, does the battery LED stay lit steady orange?  If yes, do not attempt to turn the machine on until the charge LED turns steady blue. This may take 8 or more hours if the battery is at or below the critical charge level of about 5%.

No, the orange LED only stays like 10 seconds and then turns off.

The battery likely has an internal short. If it was mine, I would immediately replace the battery due to the risk of a battery fire. Google E5-571G & battery for vendors who ship to your location. New replacement  batteries for this model are less than about $35usd.

The thing is that even if I plug in the charger and run the laptop without the battery it doesn't work either so I descart a battery problem.

Today I tried again and the battery charged all, I have leave it like 9 or 10 hours and now when I try to run it, the blue LED lights up and the fan began to run 2 seconds but then it turns off. Now the screen doesn't show nothing.

Most new laptops will NOT operate with a shorted battery or on AC alone without a battery . The battery likely has an internal short. You risk a battery fire and/or destroying the charger by trying to make this laptop work with a defective battery.
