When users click the Set up my PIN, they get redirected to the same page and when they enter the PIN, they encounter the same error code. This is an ongoing problem by Microsoft and there hasn’t been any concrete solution to this yet. There are workarounds suggested by users but no official response from Microsoft could be see

I have a Lenovo Laptop that accepts my ID but the Acer just runs me in a circle.
I went to bios and loaded/saved defaults but same.

Basically on booting. I get a message that says my PIN isn't available, Click to set-up your pin again. When I click, same thing.

TC895-UA92.
I 'm working on a solution .
I suppose that I'll have to run my USB Backup ?

I fixed it by using an USB Recovery Drive. Then doing a system restore to a previous point.
Then I removed my PIN login, however then MS wanted a password ?
I ended up reusing my old pin login ID as it seemed like too much trouble to remove both the password and ID so I went back to the 4 numbered ID which is also on my laptop.
Now I'll work on why this happen ?
