Hello,

I try to fix a Acer Aspire A315-21-616E because its screen stay black when starting it.

When starting it, the fan turn on: http://plik.zsites.ca/file/wz4vBTkmyTsdd37L/82joTFa37b4sgxNj/66200490765__414529A7-0DFC-4877-AD89-B0CE4592BE6E.MOV

I’d remove the battery and try to reset the unplugged laptop with a paperclip in the reset hole without any success.

The battery is brand new.

Is someone know how to fix that issue? I’d tried everything but the lcd panel stays black. An external lcd screen plugged into the HDMI output won’t work as well.

Did this happen suddenly for no apparent reason? Or did it happen after an update?

Load into BIOS. Quickly press F2 immediately after the laptop is turned on until the BIOS menu appears

@serhio12 I’d just give another try and nothing happen. Plus, I’d plugged an external screen just to see if something will happen and it show no input message.

this is a hardware problem. Most likely the video chip is damaged. You can turn off all unnecessary hardware. Replace thermal paste and clean the cooler. View the status of the connectors. And try to enter BIOS again. If it does not work, then you have to go to the SC. The motherboard is defective.

Try toggling the screens on with the FN+F5 and FN+F6 combinations.
