cannot boot to external ssd on acer aspire a715-41g

I am going to rip my hair out it dosen’t detect my external ssd which I cloned my old laptop onto I tried a usb stick windows installer and that dosen’t show up either ive tried every youtube video imaginable and none have worked how do I fix this

    dosen’t show up in the f12 menu or bios it only shows some uefi shell thing and nothing else

    "dosen’t detect my external ssd which I cloned my old laptop onto" What software did you use to clone ? Are you sure you cloned and not copied ? Have seen this happen when copied and not cloned. Who made your external SSD ?

    I cloned I am sure I cloned the drive I used macrium reflect to clone it it’s an adata sd600q

    its also formatted as ntfs

    Set Windows to Boot from SSD via BIOS
    1. Use a SATA cable to connect the SSD to your computer.
    2. Restart your PC. Continuously press a specific key (usually F2, F8, F12, Del) to enter BIOS Setup.
    3. Then, use the arrow keys to select Boot Option. Here, you can change the boot order to boot from the cloned SSD.
