Nitro AN515-57 battery care questions

Member Posts: 5 New User
The manual for my Nitro AN515-57, and the Win 11 OS itself, gives what seems to be contradictory advice about battery care.  It says battery life is adversely affected by "using the computer on constant AC power", but later says to optimize battery life, one should use AC power "whenever possible, reserving battery power for mobile use".  The manual also says to discharge and recharge the battery to its "extremes" to optimize battery life, yet when my computer's battery gets down to 40%, a window pops up recommending that I plug in to AC current. All this I find confusing and contradictory. Can someone please advise me? I want my battery to last as long as possible.

@Scoof you don't really need to let the battery drains to 0% and fully-charge it. You can always use the laptop with charger plugged in all the time for preserving battery life.
