Hello,

I have owned this computer for several months now, and I am generally happy with it.

But I find that the graphics card heats up quickly on some games, the temperature is often at 80 degrees Celsius.

This is due to the temperature inside the computer which rises very fast, the fans don't do their job well I think.

Am I the only one who thinks so?

Salut,

    Hi there!

I don't think you should worry too much about the temp while gaming. But if you want to try to lower it, you could try using MSI Afterburner and either ramp up fan speeds, undervolt your GPU or both. Youtube has many good videos about this.

It might help if you told us what components you currently have. Take care!

    Hi @ Agoniste
Predator products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components

    Hi all,

    Many thanks for your answers.

My computer is new, september 2021. Is the model with i7-11700k, 32GB RAM, RTX 3080 10GO.

By default on the computer, the GPU fan work at 66% at 80°. I think it is not enough.

Yes GotBanned, i have see last night an option for fan GPU on MSI Afterburner. I will trying it :)

But maybe a fan on the top of the case would have been needed to expel the hot air. As I saw it on a previous model.

Good evening and thanks again for your help.

Ditto I have had this pc since Christmas and I find that it heats up too much, my wall is more than 30 cm away and it is super hot. Graphics card at 100% on fortnite and heats up to 80 degrees. In addition, I am not talking about the noise of the fans ... I am very disappointed! Otherwise for Word there's no problem .... for a pc at 2500 euros ... My little brother with his Xbox x on Fortnite it's zero noise and no untimely heating.
