Can someone just assist me on understanding how this app works?
I have acquired Predator through my company due to capabilities vs. Budget. Now, when I'm at the office, there are a lot of restrictions from the company's internet as they are blocking YouTube, etc for bandwidth purposes. I use my cellular data through wifi to access YouTube when needed.
Now I have to go back to Ethernet when needed to access the common folder or for the ERP system or whatever. The Ethernet connects me to internet as well as the company's netwrok
Can someone please let me know if it's possible that I traffic internet through WIFI only while the company's netwrok would be through Ethernet? Again, the Ethernet has internet connection and MAYBE MAYBE, I can have the IT to disable it.

I would run this by your IT desk rather than here im afriad, if they are disallowing access to these websites it could land you in hot water to work around it on a work PC. Usualy the reason that it will be disallowed is for security posture, policy or some standard the company has to subscribe to.

If they allow it, the "best" way would be to have a VM, and then pass through the wifi adapter to that. You then would have the "dirty" internet virutal machine , and then the work machine would be kept seperate

    Hi...
    Thank you for your response.
The IT is not familiar with Killer app. That's why I'm trying to understand it and reach to a reasonable solution.

The reason why I keep switching between Wifi and LAN is because of the restriction, as mentioned earlier. Youtube is one, A lot of websites are banned. Eventhough if the website is trustworthy and is https: for some international brands for instrumentation and automaton such as PLC's and other products that I'm interested in for the factory/projects. I was trying to access KEB website for some VFD's but it was blocked!

It is not reasonable at all that I will be going back and forth to the IT for each and every website that I have to access since the market is huge and I need to go through multiple options on different times. IT wouldn't make any since that everytime I need to access one website I would request this independently and wait until they unlock it and then the next day I would go through the same process.

You laid a brilliant idea for VM and so on. However, it would be a nightmare when running AutoCAD, and the ERP at the same time which I do pretty often.

So.... If I am careful accessing websites, and only trustworthy ones, would I still be able to access internet form Wifi and local network through Ethernet ?
Still, the Etherner connects to internet. What would you do if you would be able to do it?
