Bought an Acer Swift 3 SF314 41 athlon 300 u

upgraded it with a 4gb RAM and SSD HP 120 GB NVME

The laptop works great after the upgrade but occasionally, it freezes and I have to restarted it, post that I get an error of 'No Bootable Disk"

Then I have to hard reboot the laptop.

On the other hand, it happens sometimes when the laptop goes to sleep and I switch it on I again see the 'No Bootable Disk' error.

Upon calling the service center, they said switch to a SATA SSD, will that work?

Its pretty frustrating because I have invested quite a bit in the laptop to make it work

Any clarity would be really helpful.

Thanks,

Thanks, would I be in a better place if I just get a crucial SATA SSD?

Crucial isn't really one of the bigger names in SSDs, I'd either go WD or Samsung.

If it were mine, I'd try the WesternDigital.
