So there is a option to turn on the charging limit in my laptop through the acer care centre app but when I move or transport my laptop from one place to another it turns it self off I mean the charging limit its very annoying to turn back on cuz acer centre takes time to load up after I boot my laptop and I can leave it to charge until 100% but as it affects the battery life and acer had to sacrifice the battery size because of the internal HDD port they added to the laptop and it don't have a very good amount of battery in it so I turn on the charging limit to keep the battery more efficient my system model is predator PH-315-53.

Thank you !

@NathanAlwis you can try to turn off Power-off USB charging in Quick Center. It's usually reset the charging limit when that function is turned on.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

NathanAlwis acer care center its useless doenst work for years never worked on any of my acer laptops since 2008 its only real use its to check the model number/serial/snid  and its not possible to limit the charging on acer laptops with internal batteries they were designed to be used always on AC and only on battery for emergency and really light work if youre working normally with the laptop on battery only you will damage it it will not be long until you need a replacement the main purpose of the internal batteries on gaming laptops its to act as a powerbank to aid the adapter with more extra power when this one cant provide enough to the cpu/dgpu also they will not overcharge it will not affect battery life by being plugged in mine its 24/7 since 2018 non stop on AC and i only have a 10.6% wear and if i re-calibrate the battery properly will drop down again to 8'ish i hope this explains how the internal batteries work and its main purpose on gaming laptops and the normal battery life on a predator its about 2/3h thats it unless you change the powerplan settings or undervolt it with TS with a battery saving profile to lock the cpu at the stock clock or even lower to save more battery and dim the brightness i have managed to get 12h battery life on my spin5 locked at 400mhz and gaming on shadow ultra VM with the igpu :p but bare in mind the laptop usage was just the shadow launcher and rendering the image nothing else as at 400mhz you cant even browse properly so please dont even try this you will make the laptop useless for normal use

    Hi @NathanAlwis,

The classic Control Panel will open to the Power Options section – click the Change plan settings hyperlink. Then click on the Change advanced power settings hyperlink. Now scroll down and expand the Battery tree and then Reserve battery level and change the percentage to what you want.

But I turn the charging limit on from the care centre when it resets it self and it works... but the thing is when I transport my laptop from one place to another it turns off  but if I keep it stationary it wont turn off but I always cant keep it stationary LMAO....
