Headphone input problems on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55

Please help me! I recently bought an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 (Intel i7-10750H, RTX 2060), and for some reasons when I plug a pair of headphones in, I get some very strange issues.

Basically, when I plug in a pair of headphones, Realtek Audio asks me which audio input device I have plugged in. I click on headphones, but for some reason, the audio keeps playing on my laptop's speakers, and the laptop doesn't recognise the headphones at all. Most of the time, I turn the laptop off, and plug the headphones in while the laptop is off, and then it recognises it, but sometimes, I have to restart it/turn it on and off several times because it doesn't recognise my headphones.

The other issue I have is that for some reason, the laptop doesn't recognise the microphone on my headphones. The only option I get when I try to select my microphone is "Microphone Array (Realtek Audio). When I plug in a USB microphone, the laptop recognises it just fine, and it lets me switch between "Microphone Array (Realtek Audio) and the USB microphone (Blue Yeti Nano)

Please if someone knows any solutions to fix these problems, let me know!

Acer laptops don't separate 3.5mm headset mic. It combines with mic array. As long as you select headset in the Realtek Audio Console, then your headset mic is working.
