I decided to run some games on my laptop, but my laptop is heating up easily, and sometimes my laptop just completely shut down while im playing. I tried SpeedFan but it doesnt detect the fans. I also tried NoteBook FanControl but I dont think its supported on this model (or im doing something wrong here).

Anyone know any solution to this?

    Hi @Sqeeks,

    1. Choose "Performance and Maintenance."
    2. Choose the "Power Saver" option.
    3. Locate the scale next to "Cooling Method" and slide it midway to "Performance." This option will utilize the cooling fan to continually keep the computer cool; however, it only slows down the CPU if necessary.

Im not sure where is the "Performance and Maintenance" settings. The closest to this category is "Security and Maintenance" as you can see in the photo, which doesnt have anything to do with power in it.

Heres another attempt with using the search bar:

He was just quoting from an unrelated answer that involved a specific BIOS. Your BIOS Doesn't have that functionality built in. There is an older freeware utility called SpeedFan that might work.

Here is the fan table for your SF314-43:

What are you seeing for the temperatures? As you can see once you have hit 90C it will run at full speed until it gets down under 62C.
