Acer 31.5 165Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor (ED320QR)- Black screen not working

For some context, I bought this monitor a year ago at best buy. It was exactly what I needed, Everything was good on it the colors were great the size was incredible and it was exactly what it said it was. Fast forward a year later and I had had no issues with it at all, until just the other day. Like I normally did I put my computer to sleep and left my computer plugged in and running as normal but it was in sleep so it was powered off. The next day after school I came back and turned on my monitor as normal and shook my mouse to wake up my PC like usual. But there was no response and my monitor just flashed a black screen. After trying a few more times I decided to shut down my computer and start it again. This did nothing as my computer turned on but the monitor remained blank with a black screen and no logo or menus came up which I thought was weird. So I figured it was probably a monitor-related issue so I unplugged it from my PC and tried hitting the power button a few times. Still, nothing and I realized that after staying on a black screen for a bit the power button would just start blinking blue. I soon realized this was because the monitor was in sleep mode but why would it be stuck in that and not be able to unsleep. So I then tried taking it apart to see if I can see any issues with any parts but nothing seemed off about it. I tried everything that I saw on the community youtube videos unplugging, holding the power button but nothing seems to work. I've come to the conclusion that its either a hardware or software issue although I don't think it is hard where because nothing was done to the monitor to make it stop working. If someone could help me solve this issue that would be great thanks!
